After careful consideration and in response to valuable feedback from community members, Mike Geric Construction has made the decision to withdraw our current application for the proposed development at 2625 Arbutus Road. We have listened closely to the concerns and suggestions shared by residents and stakeholders, and we recognize the importance of aligning our plans with the community’s vision for the future of this neighbourhood.
As a result, we will be reworking the proposal to remove the 4-storey condominium building with institutional space from the development plan. Our goal remains to create thoughtful, respectful projects that contribute positively to the communities in which we build. We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to provide input and participate in the process. Your voices have been instrumental in shaping the next steps for this project, and we look forward to hearing more from you and returning with a revised proposal that better reflects community values and expectations.
Summer Breeze Concert – September 6
Even the weather couldn’t deter the concertgoers from CBRA’s first concert in the park! All ages enjoyed the music of the Bald Eagles, Broke & Blue, and Kelby MacNayr’s Tiny Rhythm Kings. A special thank you to Allan Castle, CBRA’s Secretary, for putting this together! Many thanks as well to board members Robert Des Trois Maison and Brian Parrott for their help 🙂 We look forward to doing it again next year!
