This morning I received a flyer protesting the installation of a cell tower at our local United Church (CBUC). This is the first I have heard of this and I am looking forward to the day I can actually use my cell phone from my house. I have had a cell phone for almost 20 years and lived in Cadboro Bay for 24. In that time I have regularly protested to the mobility carriers that there is no service in Cadboro Bay in spite of the fact that we are in Greater Victoria. Finally there is a solution at hand.
I am in total support of the TELUS CBUC initiative and look forward to providing my support when the church canvasses the neighbourhood.
