Seaterra advise us that additional geotechnical work will be taking place for the Arbutus Attenuation Tank in Haro Wood in the coming weeks:
- On Monday, April 7, a back-hoe will be used to clear some shrub to create safe and accessible work areas for the drilling crew. The Rotary drill crew will be on site for three days. The crew will take rock samples and install a bedrock piezometer which will provide detail on groundwater conditions.
- On Monday April 14, an auger drill will be on site to take soil samples.
All work will take place on site and will not interfere with traffic. Access to the walking path in Haro Woods will not be blocked although residents are advised to use caution when crews are working.
