Saanich has notified us about upcoming public engagement opportunities for residents to provide feedback on the potential legalization of secondary suites North of McKenzie Avenue
We are pleased to inform you that a web page has been set up on the Saanich website with information about the Study of Secondary Suites North of McKenzie. The page provides information on the study, how to participate, a link to the online survey and a list of open house events. Looking at the website, you may note that the study area has been modified to exclude Broadmead, where restrictive covenants are in place, and all areas outside the Urban Containment Boundary, including a small portion of Cordova Bay.
Open House Dates:
- Wednesday, April 16th Gordon Head Recreation Centre 6:00-8:30 pm
- Tuesday, April 22nd Saanich Commonwealth Place 5:30-9:00 pm
- Wednesday, April 30 Gordon Head Recreation Centre 6:00-8:30 pm
- Thursday, May 1st Saanich Municipal Hall 5:00-8:00 pm
Secondary Suites Survey:
A public opinion survey is also now available on the Saanich website. It will be available until May 12th.For your convenience, Papers Surveys will be available at Open House events and at Gordon Head Recreation Centre, Saanich Commonwealth Place and the Municipal Hall. Please let us know if you would like to make surveys available at any of your Associations events, but we would prefer to encourage people to fill the survey online and reduce paper use.
