Tree Appreciation Day: Sun, Nov 2, 10–2pm

Please join Saanich Parks for a Tree Appreciation Day Event on Sunday November 2nd from 10am to 12pm.

Help the community restore and replant the grass field area north of Royal Jubilee Hospital between Bowker Creek and Haultain Street (see attached document).

We will be planting approximately twenty 3-5 metre coniferous trees and approximately 200 native shrubs along Bowker Creek. 

There will be staff on hand to help instruct planting requirements, provide tools, and snacks.

This is a community based planting so please tells your friends and neighbours to come out to lend support and be prepared to get dirty.
