Some of you may have noticed a strong smell of diesel fuel emanating from a boats that has foundered on the beach in the recent storm.
After enquiries, the owner of the boat in question has advised us that—
We’ve been in contact the Coast Guard asking them to remove the fuel from the boat. We contacted them again this morning and they’ve advised us staff will attend the site and let us know what they plan to do. I will keep you informed once I know more.
