From the District of Saanich:
Following on our Saanich talks Kick-off event in March, attached is the invitation to the second upcoming Saanich Talks event on May 7 at UVic. The tile entitled Our Community in a Changing Climate. This also promises to be a very interesting event and will include the following expert guest speakers:
- Dr Jennie More will speak to us about sustainable consumption
- Dr Tom Pedersen will address sea level rise and coastal impacts
- Dr Nancy Turner will discuss biodiversity and climate change.
