Arbutus Road: alternating traffic for two weeks, starting July 6

From The Wastewater Treatment Project Team of the Capital Regional District:

We wanted to update you on some work that is taking place as part of the Wastewater Treatment Project’s Arbutus Attenuation Tank.

During the week of July 6, Saanich will be installing water service which will require single lane alternating traffic on Arbutus Road near the entrance to the site. This is expected to take place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and should be completed within approximately two weeks.

Once the water service is installed by Saanich, the contractor will be working to widen the access point to the site, making it easier and safer for trucks to enter and exit.

The majority of excavation on site is now complete. It is anticipated that concrete installation will begin in August.

Thank you,

The Wastewater Treatment Project Team
