Mayor Fred Haynes is pleased to advise that Council unanimously approved the addition of key resources, including three full time staff to the bylaw department. This upgrade enables a reorganization and staff to better address the community needs they have been hearing about from Community Associations and the public. Some key aspects include the relocation of parking enforcement from the Saanich Police Department to Bylaws, enabling resources for bylaw calls on weekends.
