CBRA is experiencing an increase in letters from the public, sparked by recent news reporting about the potential for a dog park pilot in Saanich. Letters posted to our website can be read here. Likely Saanich Council is also noticing an uptick in letters.
Although news reporting has focused on the dog park pilot discussed by Saanich Parks and Recreation Committee on April 28, 2021, the pilot is only one part of a larger initiative to make improvements. CBRA’s set of recommendations are summarized in a letter from March 23, 2021 to Saanich Council, and a report from Saanich Staff is anticipated to be released in the near future.
