Billet families are an integral and special part of the Victoria Royals Hockey Club. With their help, players from all over the world can come to Victoria to play for the greatest fans in the Western Hockey League.
When you sign up to be a billet family, you are creating a unique bond and friendship with one of our players and participate in their growth as both an athlete and as a young adult. By welcoming one of our young men into your home, we ask that you provide a safe environment for him to spend the year.

Billet families can expect that the player will adapt to the normal activities of the household, will be courteous and respectful and they will communicate with you regarding their plans and whereabouts.
We understand the dedication that comes with signing up for this rewarding opportunity. Every billet family receives season tickets (inclusive of playoff tickets), a monthly stipend per player and will be invited to exclusive social functions periodically throughout the season.
The relationships that are formed between a billet family and player can last a lifetime. When you sign up to be a billet, you become a part of the Victoria Royals family.
