Saanich Parks Department have advised us that they will be conducting routine trail maintenance on Ten Mile Point in the next two weeks, following the regular inspection of the condition of all trails in this area every four years.
They report some minor touch-ups are needed to a few points along existing gravel trails. They also plan to place new hog fuel (wood chips) over the entire length of two existing hog fuel trails, at Wedgepoint and Benson Parks. No substantial changes to the trails are expected, and disruption to trail users should be minimal.
