At their meeting on September 9th, Cadboro Bay’s Emergency Preparedness Task Force reviewed the May 31st exercise, and noted that continued advancements in social media will have a hugely positive impact on the ability of a small cadre of trained individuals to oversee an effective Convergent Volunteer response to a major catastrophic event in Cadboro Bay.
At its next meeting in November, the plan is to bring some select individuals to fill in positions on the Executive, to replace certain individuals who are no longer in the neighbourhood. More on this to follow in the weeks ahead.
