Got more leaves than you can handle? Saanich Municipality will be completing the first round of its leaf collection service in Cadboro Bay (Area 2) tomorrow, Nov. 19, and do another round between Dec 8–12.

Note: They will be collecting leaves only.
Fir/Cedar needles, grass clippings, prunings, garden waste are not collected as part of the Leaf Collection Program. These materials as well as leaves can be added to your Organics Recycling Cart for bi-weekly collection. Large volume loads can be brought to the Saanich Public Works Yard at 1040 McKenzie Ave.
- Leaves to be adjacent to road in rows or piles (no more than 1 metre away from the road).
- Leaves to be clear of catch basins, sidewalks, bike lanes and roadways.
- Leaves to be on the street side of open ditches.
- Access to leaves must be unobstructed (clear of vehicles, obstacles, etc.)
