Re: Tudor Avenue, Phyllis Street and Mt Baker View Road
Due to the amount of rock encountered on Tudor Avenue during the water main construction, progress has been a little slower than anticipated. Overriding schedules and scheduling constraints for other projects has made it necessary to remove the crew from Tudor Avenue for a short while to attend to other projects on Tillicum Avenue and Cedar Hill Cross Road. Once these works are completed the crew will be back at Tudor Avenue to complete the watermain upgrade.
While the work has stopped on Tudor Avenue the fire lane will remain closed and Tudor Avenue will be fully open. Once the crews return to Tudor Avenue the use of the fire lane will begin again and traffic signs will be up or down to reflect the status of the road and the fire lane. We thank you for your patience up to this point and also for the duration of the work.
