Cadboro Bay Beach Reopened

Doug Henderson, Director of Parks and Recreation at the District of Saanich, advises:

November 16, 2015
Visitors can return to local beach
Please be advised that Cadboro Bay Beach has been reopened for public access. After sweeps of the beach and several cycles of high/low tides no needles or syringes have been found in the last two days.

Although the beach itself has been opened to the public, visitors are reminded to watch for hazards that may be washed up along the shoreline at any time of year. If you do spot a hazard please phone the Public Works 24 hour line at 250-475-5599.

The Island Health Beach Advisory remains in effect for Cadboro Bay Beach. Details on local beach conditions can be found on Island Health’s website.
