Notice from Saanich:

The Corporation of the District of Saanich would like to inform you
that, as part of their Capital Works program, a sidewalk will be constructed on
the south side of Cadboro Bay Road within the Cadboro Bay Village area.  Key features include:

  1. Construction of a 2m. wide
    concrete sidewalk on the south side, between Sinclair Road and Penrhyn Street
    (approximately 75 m long);
  2. Construction of a 2m. wide
    asphalt sidewalk on the south side, connecting to the existing sidewalk in
    front of the Starbucks Coffee and extending eastwards towards the existing bus
    stop (approximately 70 m long);
  3. Improving access to the
    existing eastbound bus stop within the Cadboro Bay Village Area.

This project will also improve cycling accessibility as this portion

District of Saanich’s Bikeway Network.

Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-March and is expected to
be completed in six weeks
, subject to favourable weather conditions.  During the construction period, you can

ask that you follow the instructions of traffic control and/or construction
