Saanich has agreed to install an asphalt sidewalk and curb from the end of the concrete sidewalk on Penrhyn Street north to Hobbs Street.
Starting with a petition to the Municipality in the fall of 2015, this sidewalk comes as a result of almost two years of discussion meetings and dogged perseverance.
Highlights:
- This sidewalk will be in a similar alignment to the existing sidewalk.
- This project is part of the 2017 Public Works Program.
- Residents in the construction zone will be sent notices prior to the commencement of the project.
