What: The Saanich Climate Plan is taking shape, and needs your input!
The climate adaptation component of the plan is looking at how our climate and weather patterns are changing, exploring how these changes will impact our community in different ways, and developing actions to ensure we are resilient and prepared for climate change in our municipal operations and within the broader community.

Workshop attendees will have a chance to:
- Hear the results of public engagement and the risk assessment outcomes so far;
- Review, discuss and comment on the draft adaptation actions; and,
- Contribute your ideas for additional actions.

Thank youto the many individuals who came out and participated in our risk assessment workshop in December! We have spent some time reviewing the results, verifying ratings to ensure a high level of agreement between different groups, and summarizing the results in the attached report. We will be presenting these findings at our workshop on March 12 and using them as a lens to review and prioritize actions in the coming phase. In the meantime, you are invited to read the report and send any comments to maggie.baynham@saanich.ca.
