    A recently donated 1901 book, Thy heart’s desire: a book of family prayers, included loose items inside: ephemera, photographs, and news clippings, all from the WWI era.

  • Looking Back: Red Bricks for Sale 
    On March 27, 1979, the Daily Colonist ran a small ad for a sale of: “Old red bricks, windows, doors, plumbing,” etc. from the 100-year-old house at 916 Tolmie Avenue.
