Ian Hinkle—member of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, part-time worker with C-Tow, and part of the original taskforce that got rid of the first derelict boats— advises:
Just wanted to let you know that we got rid of one of the boats today that used to be in front of QA.
It was deemed a hazard, and after being brought in from Haro Strait, Transport Canada took steps today to let us to remove it. So we added it to the barge already in Oak Bay for the blue trimaran.
The guy living on the boats is living on his other boat in Oak bay again-
But the good news is there is one fewer derelict boat on the coast.
