George and Helena are longtime residents of Cadboro Bay who have discovered how to capture moments of natural wonder through the lens of their camera. In these photos, two eagles swoop down to the coast of Ten Mile Point off Haro Strait, to lunch on crabs living at this border of land and sea.
This is just a small sampling of what will be an exciting series of wildlife photography taken directly within and off the coast of Cadboro Bay. CBRA extends a sincere thank-you to George and Helena for bringing this ‘lens’ to World Oceans Day. They have inspired reflection on the vital role of oceans through photography from our own backyard.
