The University of Victoria, through UVic Properties, is consulting the community over a plan to move the world-leading research group Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) to the Queenswood property.
- Renovations to the interior of Queenswood’s existing care facility building will be required to accommodate ONC’s offices and research space.
- UVic Properties will apply for a “spot” rezoning designation for this specific building this Fall, to add office and research uses to the building’s existing Personal Care (P3) zoning.
- UVic Properties has retained the consulting firm DIALOG to assist with the rezoning application and community consultation.
