Greater Victoria Green Team (GVGT) would like to extend an invitation to the Community for an activity that they will be hosting at UVic’s Queenswood Campus Saturday, July 23, from 9:45am to 1:00pm.
At Queenswood on Saturday, GVGT volunteers will work together to remove invasive species like English Ivy and Daphne from the forest. This activity will be a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow community members and make personal connections, partake in meaningful hands-on work, and support native biodiversity!
All GVGT activities are designed to be inclusive and welcoming; no invasive species removal experience is required to participate, and all the tools, training, and snacks you might need during the activity will be provided!
