Eric Dahli, Chair of the Cadboro Bay Residents Association and Co-Founder of the Dead Boats Society, reports: Starting at 8 am on a sunny and calm Wednesday in Cadboro Bay, the sailing vessel 7-LO was pulled off the beach by C-Tow. Two boats that were thrown onto Gyro Beach (Saanich side) during the weekend storm will hopefully be removed this week.C-Tow tried to pull off one of the boats—a 40ft (20 tons) live-aboard—with one of their Zodiacs yesterday (Monday) morning at 7:45, with no success.
